More good days together: how Fetch & Project Street Vet are helping pets + their people

At Fetch Pet Insurance, our goal is to ensure more pets in more communities get the care they need, regardless of their family’s circumstances. That goal is at the heart of our partnership with Project Street Vet, a volunteer-led nonprofit that provides free, judgment-free veterinary care to pets of people experiencing homelessness.

In 2022, we became Project Street Vet’s title sponsor. Since then, our teams, customers and community have come together year after year to fuel their work through clinic support, awareness and our annual Fetch 101 Donations Matching Gift Campaign.

In 2025, we also expanded our support for Project Street Vet and three additional organizations providing care to pets and their people in urgent need by hosting the inaugural Fetch Pet Gala. This event brought together donors, partners and advocates to celebrate the human–animal bond and raise critical funds so more pets and their people can access the care they deserve.

As we look back on everything Project Street Vet has accomplished this year and launch the 4th year of the 101 Donations Campaign, we’re honored to share the impact this partnership is making and invite you to help power what’s possible in 2026 and beyond.

Our partnership at a glance

Since becoming title sponsor in 2022, Fetch’s support has helped Project Street Vet:

• Expand its reach from a one man mission to a multi-team, multi-city effort serving a dozen communities across the U.S.
  
• Provide thousands of free exams, vaccines, medications and life-changing procedures to pets whose families are living on the streets or in temporary housing.
  
• Offer supplies like food, leashes and flea/tick prevention that help keep pets safe and healthy.
  
• Show up consistently with one powerful message: you and your pet deserve care, dignity and respect.

Project Street Vet’s model is simple but powerful: volunteer veterinarians and support teams meet people exactly where they are: on sidewalks, in encampments, in shelters — and provide judgment-free care for their beloved pets. For many clients, their pet is their closest companion and lifeline. Helping that pet means helping their person, too.

What Project Street Vet achieved in 2025

In 2025, Project Street Vet’s volunteer veterinarians and support teams continued to show up in extraordinary ways. With support from Fetch and generous donors, they were able to:

• Serve 2400+ pets and people across street vet work + community clinics
  
• Fund 680+ financial assistance cases (enhanced veterinary care like spay/neuter, surgeries, dental extractions and more)
  
• Provide thousands of pounds of pet food and essential supplies
  
• Expand support in 9 communities and launching 4 NEW pilot communities, deepening their presence where the need is greatest

Each number represents a real story: a pet whose pain was relieved, a disease that was prevented, a bond that was protected. And behind those numbers is a volunteer-led team stretching every dollar as far as it can possibly go.

The Fetch 101 Donations matching gift campaign: 4 years of doubling impact

Since 2022, the Fetch 101 Donations Matching Gift Campaign has been the biggest way to support Project Street Vet’s mission.

Each year, Fetch steps up to match donations to Project Street Vet during the campaign — dollar for dollar. Thanks to an incredible community of supporters, friends, colleagues and partners, we’ve raised over $1.3M since 2022 and exceeded the campaign goal every single year.
