For Hollywood icon Sharon Stone, being honored with the Timeless Award at this year’s Astra Film Awards seemed like the evening's main event. But it was actually an 8-week-old rescue puppy that stole the show (and the actress' heart).
Adoptable puppies mingled and charmed A-list guests on the red carpet at the event. Among the litter of pups, a tiny, spotted Pit Bull mix caught Sharon's eye.
The spotted pup and 2 of her siblings made their way to the awards with help from The Lovejoy Foundation after being rescued from a “dire situation."
The actress was photographed throughout the night cradling the puppy — who features a distinctive, adorable brown patch over one eye. Sharon ended up adopting the pup and naming her Mo.

Sharon isn’t the only one ecstatic about adding a new furry family member. Her youngest son, Quinn, will also play a big role in raising Mo.
"I think that dogs and kids go together like peanut butter and jelly," she said. "I think it's good character building for kids, and it's really healthy for kids and for families to have pets."
Sharon knows that while she's giving this pup a brand-new start, Mo is going to do just as much for her and Quinn. She’s already “brought a lot of joy, cuddles and fun” into their home.
For pet parents inspired by Sharon, Mo’s story highlights a growing trend in Hollywood: using major events to find forever homes for shelter animals. It turns a night of glamour into a moment of life-saving impact.
It also reminds us that we don't need a red carpet to be a hero — you just need to give a rescue dog a chance for a fresh start.
