“We went to the vet and they said, ‘Oh, she has degenerative gum disease. Her teeth are really bad, and she’s going to have to get them removed.’ So, we did a first removal. And then the other teeth didn't get better. And then it was two more times where we had to remove. She has no teeth left — we took the whole mouth. Those vet bills would have been like a college tuition.”
Melissa didn’t have to put off the treatment Rumple needed for periodontal disease
“We have insurance for ourselves and it makes 100% sense to have insurance for our cats, especially because they're family. We don't have to worry about the teeth extraction. We don't have to put that on the back burner, and then maybe the dental disease spreads to something else. There are things you put off because you're not covered, and we don't feel that way. We do whatever is necessary immediately to make sure that our cats are good.”
