Age: Puppies and kittens cost less to insure with Fetch than older dogs and cats. Other insurers charge more than Fetch for younger pets, even though younger pets usually have less veterinary expenses.



Breed: Specific breeds are prone to certain conditions, making them more costly to insure, on average. Since Bulldogs are susceptible to breathing problems, for example, their monthly price is more than other breeds. 



Where you live: This plays a role in determining your cost because the price of veterinary care changes based on location.

A waiting period is a set amount of time before your pet's veterinarian expenses are eligible for reimbursement by pet insurance. With Fetch, there’s a waiting period of up to 15 days before illness coverage begins. Any illness that occurs during this waiting period will not be covered.
